MISS OLAG AND PERFECT GENTLEMAN 2025

In the custom of showcasing glamour, charisma and character, the annual pageantry season returned with a fresh new bevy of damsels and a line of gentlemen all poised to stride the carpets of OLAG royalty. With a grand launch on June 7, Miss OLAG and PGM 2025 opened the curtains for a season of refined stagecraft and insightful entertainment — four weeks of unforgettable performances.
The event premiered with a colourful opening ceremony, unveiling all twenty contestants in their beautiful gowns and suits. School authorities highlighted the pageant’s vision of empowering young individuals through the school’s theme for the year. Speaking on the focus of this year’s edition, the acting patron and esteemed judges set the ball rolling with the reveal of a stirring theme  “Harnessing Potential for Positive Transformation”. The stage was set ablaze by performances from various dance troupes, music bands and the contestants as well, keeping the audience at the edge of their seats throughout the entire show.

OLAG Students Participate in Pre-College Summer Scholars Programme in the USA

In a remarkable stride towards global academic exposure and cross-cultural learning, four students from Our Lady of Grace Senior High School, Mamponteng, recently participated in the 2025 Pre-College Summer Scholars Programme in the United States of America. This immersive academic experience was hosted by the prestigious University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana.

The selected students — Blessing Wenawume Aduko, Cecil Tuglo, Francess-Marie Maame Gyasiwaa Sarsah, and John Elliot Sena Koffie — spent approximately three weeks in the United States under the guidance and mentorship of the school’s chaplain, Rev. Fr. Godfred Akwasi Owusu. Their journey began in Edina, Minnesota, where they were graciously hosted by parishioners of the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. This warm welcome set the tone for what would become a transformational experience.

On July 19, 2025, the campus of the University of Ghana, Legon, became a launch pad for the future. Young innovators from across the nation gathered for the Robotics Inspired Science Education (RiSE) competition — Ghana’s official qualifier for the upcoming World Robotics Olympiad in Singapore. Undoubtedly, it is this principle that supplements the iron-willed nature of all who participate in the prestigious Luv FM Pepsodent Ashanti Regional High School Debate. Our Lady of Grace Senior High School returned this year with a familiar ferocity, represented by Wunzoya Fadina Sule and Jessica Asakibeem, who demonstrated commendable courage and eloquence throughout the competition.

STUDENTS OF OUR LADY OF GRACE SHS HAND OVER RENOVATED ABRADE D/A PRIMARY SCHOOL

In a heartwarming display of community service and leadership, the immediate and current Students Representative Council (SRC) of Our Lady of Grace Senior High School, Mamponteng by their Patron, Mr. Emmanuel Antwi, and the school’s Headmaster, Fr. Sylvester Frimpong, handed over a renovated Abrade D/A Primary School to its administrators on June 26, 2025.

The project, which began during the Lenten season, was sparked by a visit from students and the Headmaster to celebrate Mass at Abrade D/A Primary School. During their visit, they were moved by the deplorable state of the classrooms, which were not conducive for learning. The students, determined to make a difference, approached the school’s administration with a proposal to renovate the primary school.
