On Saturday, 16th May 2026, Our Lady of Grace Senior High School (OLAG) reached a significant milestone as it conducted its annual Entrance Examination across 23 designated centers nationwide. The heart of the action was right here on the main OLAG campus in Mamponteng, Ashanti, where hundreds of hopeful candidates gathered to secure their spot in our prestigious institution. The campus came alive early in the morning as eager students arrived with their parents. To ensure a seamless process, members of the school’s Protocol Team and the Cadet Corps were on the ground to guide families, manage traffic, and assist with the signing-in process. Candidates were efficiently directed to their respective examination rooms based on their seat numbers, where the air was a clear mix of high excitement and quiet nervous tension.
The academic hurdle commenced at exactly 9:00 AM with the Mathematics paper. While the students settled down to face the equations, the school organized a special engagement for the waiting parents. Gathering at the campus lawns, parents were met by prefects and Protocol Team members who led them on an extensive guided tour of OLAG’s world-class facilities. The tour showcased the school’s commitment to holistic education, featuring stops at the ultra-modern Science Block, the new Classroom Block, the well-stocked Library, the spacious Dining Hall, the cutting-edge Robotics and STEM Laboratories, the School Clinic, and the state-of-the-art Sports Complex. Many parents expressed immense admiration for the serene environment and standard facilities, openly sharing their hope that their children would gain admission into such a nurturing space. By 10:30 AM, the first paper concluded with mixed reactions from candidates; some walked out with bright smiles, while others looked slightly frustrated by the rigor of the test. Nonetheless, parents were there to receive them calmly, offering comforting words to help them reset for the next task.
The General Science paper began at 11:00 AM as parents returned to the lawns, waiting patiently and offering prayers for their children’s success. During this period, the Headmaster, Rev. Fr. Sylvester Frimpong, held an interactive session with the parents to detail the financial structure, highlight the recent remarkable achievements of OLAG, and explain the strict merit-based terms of admission. This insightful session lasted for an hour, concluding just as the science paper came to an end. By 1:00 PM, the atmosphere grew remarkably quiet and refreshing as the candidates took their seats for the final paper: English Language. While the students focused on their exams, parents were invited to tour the majestic NAKA Executive Lodge, leaving them in awe of the premium architectural standards of the school. At exactly 3:00 PM, the final bell rang, marking the end of the 2026 Entrance Examination.
The quiet campus quickly filled with smiles, laughter, and a shared sense of relief as families departed with high hopes of returning for the next academic term. Management extends its profound gratitude to the staff, the Protocol Team, the Cadet Corps, and the student body for their exemplary conduct, which ensured the flawless execution of the day’s activities.
