OLAG Innovation Lab

OLAG Innovation Laboratory (OIL)
Launchpad for the Next Generation of African Entrepreneurs

The future of work is here. At Our Lady of Grace Senior High School (OLAG), we are not just educating students; we are building changemakers. OIL transforms bright ideas into viable businesses, tackling youth unemployment and empowering our community to build a better future.

What is the OLAG Innovation Laboratory?

OIL is a dedicated entrepreneurship and innovation center located on the OLAG campus in Kumasi, Ghana. We serve as a vibrant hub for collaborative learning, mentorship, and venture development, supporting students and alumni under 35 to build sustainable, scalable, and socially responsible businesses. Our mission is to prepare young Ghanaians to become job creators, equipping them with practical skills, seed funding, and the support network they need to succeed.

Why OIL Exists

Ghana faces a significant youth unemployment challenge. Despite their talent and capability, many young graduates struggle to find opportunities. The gap between education and employment often leaves creative ideas unexplored.

At OLAG, we witness this firsthand. Our talented students and alumni frequently lack the practical entrepreneurship education, mentorship, and seed funding needed to launch their ventures. OIL bridges this gap, providing the structured support system that turns potential into prosperity.

Driving the Global Goals

OIL contributes directly to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by empowering youth and fostering innovation.
