As part of measures to ensure that our first year classes start at the same time as the second and third year classes on 10th January 2023, OLAG SHS is going to undertake entrance examinations just some few days after the writing of the national BECE. According to the WAEC released calendar, the 2022 BECE will be written from Monday 17th to Friday 21st of October. OLAG SHS entrance examinations will therefore be written on Saturday 29th of October, 2022, and 5th November for Bono, Bono East and Ahafo Refions all things being equal. The subjects to prepare for are:

1. English Language (1 hour 30 minutes

2. Mathematics (one hour 30 minutes)

3. Integrated Science (one hour 30 minutes), totaling four and half hours.

The examinations will be written simultaneously at about 23 centres across the country.

Ashanti Region – Center

Greater Accra Region – Center
Jack and Jill School at Roman Ridge

For all other regions or diocesan centers, management of the school plead with priests, religious and lay faithful or members of the general public who run basic schools that are located in central points in the regional or diocesan capitals and are therefore easily accessible to the general public and are willing to host the examinations to inform us. Once notified, management will follow up for inspection and approval so that the place becomes an accredited center for our annual entrance examinations.

Please take note that only students who have sat for BECE examinations will be qualified to write the entrance examinations since upon the release of the BECE results, admitted students would be required to present their results slip for their files.
